The survey was commissioned by the Regional Heritage Office in Piotrków Trybunalski in order to locate the remains of the Bishop’s Castle in Wolbórz. Two methods were applied including magnetometry and earth resistance. The results revealed a grid pattern of anomalies which were interpreted as remains of the castle garden. This allowed for the calibration of an archival plan and reconstruction of the former landscape.
