Książnice is home to a fascinating multicultural archaeological site with a strong Neolithic niche tomb component. We carried out multiple surveys there in 2012 and 2014 with great results and were extremely happy to return in order to expand the magnetic gradiometry dataset in 2020. The study area was located on the highest point in the nearby landscape and showed a strong concentration of possible archaeological cut features implicating a strong prehistoric settlement component.
