As part of our long term collaboration with the Polish-Italian archaeological project taking place since 2015 in Sicily, we have once more conducted a survey in the town of Scicli. This time we expanded the GPR survey and conducted a high resolution UAV Airborne laser scanning survey of the castle promontory overlooking the town. Suffice to say we are extremely pleased with the results. Each year more and more data is collected revealing the interesting and overlooked Medieval archaeology of Scicli.We would like to thank our Italian and Polish colleagues for inviting us to this project and hope to return next year.
